Editing how much is too much

We all lie with are photography a little.

We enhance color and over and under exposed 

But when is editing taken to far?

  

The top one is a completely raw picture 

And the bottom is a under exposed picture of the same sky. 

A good bit of advice stop editing before you think it's perfect or you may take away the natural beauty captured by the camera 

as you can see the top has an over edited sky contrast and brightness are too far down.

doing this takes away from the shoot .

Sometimes you luck out other times we'll your screwed

It's not always going to be bright and sunny 

Learn to shoot in any condition.

For example 

This was right after a storm. Do you see the light reflect off the wet concrete adds a new dimension to the scene. 

The dark sky and blue undertones in this next one just feel right.

No Color No Problem

 

If someone ever tells you black and white photos are boring just cant appreciate the contrast that happens in a photo without color.
