Disclaimer i am not a doctor this is all just an opinion and should be taken as such.
If i asked you what the difference between A narcissist and a empath is you would most likely say one is manipulative and self absorbed wile the other is caring ,understanding ,relatable and kind . i would then tell you that there really is no difference and that they’er too sides of the same coin.
Imagine now if you will a tree and that the trunk of that tree represents the ability understand and feel another persons emotions and intentions coupled with a heightened intuition . now imagine as you go up the tree you see the path of empathy and as you descend in to the roots you see the path of the narcissist
The Light Empath:
Some of the “abilities of an em-path are as follows
no matter how well you try to hide it they will know if something is upsetting or bothering you
can tell if you’re lying or hiding something
can relate to you in almost any situation and has the urge to help everyone
Will help everyone but themselves witch will eventually lead to them burning out emotionally
The Narcissist / Dark Empath
most people would not think that a narcissist has the compacity to understand emotions in another person but when manipulating someone it is far easier to do so if you understand how to use there emotions against them. this begs the question weather or not a narcissist is just a dark Empath. and if you look at the tools used by a narcissist you might understand better what i mean.
Gas lighting: this is one of the most used tactics of a narcissist it is described by doctors as the manipulation of information they will deny that something transpired or deny they said something that you know happened or remember them saying this makes you question yourself and weaves seeds of self doubt.
Dog Whistling : This is a term usally used in politics. but in the case of a narcissist its referring to a type of reactive abuse. Imagine a room filled with people and in this room there is one dog and one person blowing a dog whistle without anyone knowing . this makes the dog go crazy and no one knows why . the narcissist will use a phrase or subtle action to trigger there target it will look like nothing to everyone else its usually a trigger word or action. this along with gas lighting slowly starts to make there victim look irrational or insane. this in turn strips away the victim's credibility making them look like there the problem.
Love-Bombing: narcissists when they first meet someone they see as a opportunity will love-Bomb you trying to break threw your emotional barriers and and gain access to your inner circle of friends this leads to you letting your guard down to them and lull you in to a false sense of security.
Hot-Cold / On-Off: this is a tactic described as being inconsistent with how they feel about things and people. For example one day they may act like they love you and the next day will be cold to you this puts you on there personal roller coaster of emotions
and that is just the top 4 “tools” used by a “Negative Empath”? (Narcissist) all of witch are at there core are a form of emotional and psychological manipulation.

This is a trait you will see very often in someone with Borderline Personality disorder Flip From caring helpful and understanding . To Cold Calculated, methodical and uncaring of others it is this duality of dark and light until there is a interaction they could be one or the other
The Tree chaos : imagine again the tree how all of it is connected dark and light empathy the last type of Empath we will look at is one i myself call a chaos empath

to understand this path you must first understand Chaos and Chaos in it self is not as most believe it to be and get it confused with discorde and disorder. But What Chaos actually is Its uncategorized potential like a stem cell It has the potential to become anything . In Greek mythology chaos is the void the nothing and everything that came before everything and that all things come from Order and light along with discord and dark all come from chaos.
The Three Paths Of Empathy
The Path of Light:Uses The deep knowledge of emotions and the mind to help others to a almost self destructive level
The Path Of dark: A Narcissist will use the deep knowledge and understanding of emotions and the mind to benefit themselves at others expense.
The Path Of Chaos: Is neither good or bad it will depend on the situation and people there interacting with what there use of that knowledge will be. When faced with a dark empath/Narcissist the Chaos Empath usualy has the upper-hand and can spot the signs of manipulation fairly quick and shut them down.
in closing i have a final piece of information did you know that in most instances a light or chaos empath will have a dark empath /narcissistic parent. With that being the case would you say that light can not be without the dark and vice versa?
